Le Samedi 17 février 2018, Claude ARNAUD est intervenu lors du colloque organisé par the Department of Languages, LItteratures and Cultures of the University of South Carolina intitulé « 1968 in global perspective », à l’occasion du 50° anniversaire des Événements, et pour la 43° conférence annuelle décidée à la littérature française. Introduit par le Professeur Jeff PERSELS, il a  prononcé en vidéoconférence un texte intitulé « Mai 68 vu par un enfant » qui raconte la genèse, historique et littéraire du livre qu’il a consacré à 68 et à la période qui a suivi, « Qu’as-tu fait de tes frères? » (édition Grasset, 2010).
