touches<\/strong><\/span> (which the english translation faithfully renders), it has been fully stated. <strong>With a remarkable economy of means, <span style=\"color: #008000;\">the thread of this rather absurd life has been inserted into a tissue<\/span> \u2013 at least as absurd \u2013 of events<\/strong>, of reversals of opinion, of political backlashes, which <strong>Chamfort<\/strong> may have thought he could help to control but which were finally to much for him. <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Arnaud is an excellent<\/span> <span style=\"color: #008000;\">observer<\/span> of
