de personnalit\u00e9s scind\u00e9es ou \u00e9clat\u00e9es<\/strong> <\/span>: cela donne aussi bien une lumineuse synth\u00e8se sur <strong>Pessoa<\/strong> qu\u2019un portrait stup\u00e9fiant d\u2019Eric <strong>von Stroheim<\/strong>, qui construisit sa carri\u00e8re sur une imposture, une analyse du cas Jean-Claude <strong>Romand<\/strong>, le faux m\u00e9decin qui massacra sa famille, qui surpasse tout ce qu\u2019on a pu lire \u00e0 ce sujet (\u2026) <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Bref, voil\u00e0 un livre capital, fourmillant d\u2019id\u00e9es, d\u2019une humanit\u00e9 Il suo autore, <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>Claude Arnaud<\/strong><\/span>, vi affronta intrepidamente un problema antico quanto la civilt\u00e0 occidentale e su cui, a partire del socratico \u201cconosci te stesso\u201d, non abbiamo mai smesso di interrogarci : <span style=\"color: #008000;\">il problema dell\u2019identit\u00e0<\/span> o, pi\u00f9 precisamente, quello della sua \u201c<span style=\"color: #008000;\">reinvenzione<\/span>\u201d nel mondo contemporaneo. <span style=\"color: #008000;\">Forte della sua esperienza di biografo, di romanziere e di critico,<\/span> <strong>Arnaud<\/strong> construice la sua inchiesta a partire dallo studio di cinque casi patologici, di <span style=\"color: #008000;\">cinque grande impostori<\/span> che, in un arco di tempo che va del Cinquencento fino ai giorni nostri, gli consentono di mostrare come l\u2019idea stessa di identit\u00e0 cambi con il mutare delle mentalit\u00e0 e delle culture. <span style=\"color: #008000;\">Tra i meriti del libro vi \u00e8 quello di saper fondere felicemente il tempo del racconto a quello della riflessione<\/span> senza che si avverta mai un cambiamento di tono.<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/h6>\n<h6><strong><strong><strong><strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>\u00ab\u00a0Arnaud<\/strong><\/span> ha l\u2019arte di <span style=\"color: #008000;\">svegliare l\u2019attenzione<\/span> del lettore, di renderlo partecipe dei suoi interrogativi e di seminare il dubbio <span style=\"color: #008000;\">con la forza persuasiva degli spiriti indipendenti<\/span>.
